He was born on December 29th in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh, spending his childhood in Aligarh, where he completed his schooling. He pursued his graduation at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in 1965. Following graduation, he began his prolific career writing poems, dialogues, and lyrics.
