Theatre

Rasika’s journey in the entertainment industry started with theatre. After moving to Mumbai, she landed her first commercial Marathi play, *Popatpanchi*, in 2010. Her experience includes working with various theatre groups and performing in numerous Marathi, Hindi, and English plays. A notable role was as Salma in *Iss Kambakht Sathe Ka Kya Karein?* alongside her husband, Zeeshan.

Transitioning from commercial plays, she shifted her focus to socio-political themes, becoming a theatre director. She co-founded Being Association in 2013 with Zeeshan, a group committed to promoting performing arts and theatre education in India. The group’s initiatives, including the Sanhita Manch Theatre Festival, provide opportunities for new writers. Rasika’s directorial credits include *Sat Bhashe Raidas*, *HarusMarus*, *Museum of Species in Danger*, and several others. Her 2023 solo play, *Stand Up with D’ Girls*, showcases her continued commitment to the stage.
