Career
Anu’s journey began in 1987 at IMRB, Kala Ghoda, Bombay, before transitioning to work as a VJ. A pivotal moment came when a modeling agent discovered her at Mumbai’s Churchgate station, launching her into the modeling world. She successfully completed several modeling projects before making her acting debut.
Her acting debut was in the Doordarshan serial “Isi Bahane” in 1988. Life After Bollywood
Recognizing that acting wasn’t her ultimate calling, Anu embarked on extensive international travel after completing “Return of Jewel Thief” in 1996. In 1997, she dedicated herself to the practice of Yoga. A significant turning point came in 1999 when she was involved in a serious car accident.
The accident resulted in a coma and memory loss, significantly impacting her life. Following her recovery, she committed herself to Yoga training and meditation, becoming a Yoga trainer at the Bihar School of Yoga Munger.
