Akash abandoned his college studies in 2011 to focus on his rap career, aiming to become an internationally recognized Indian rapper under the stage name ACA$H. After initial struggles, he collaborated with the renowned Bollywood band, Meet Brothers. While on Bigg Boss, he claimed to have contributed to their song “Chittiyan Kalaiyaan,” a claim disputed by Manmeet Singh of the Meet Brothers, who stated that Akash’s contributions were ultimately unused.
He also collaborated with the famous Punjabi singer Sukhwinder Singh. His notable songs include “BANG BANG” (2018), “Naagin Dance” (2019) with Purnima Solanki, “Dosti Friends” (which won him an award), and “Mumbai Dreaming” (2022).
