Born on October 23, 1991, Akash Ambani’s journey began within India’s most influential business family. He received his early education at Campion School and Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. Interestingly, he remained largely unaware of his family’s immense wealth until his eleventh grade, while writing an essay on Reliance for a business management course, as per his interviews.

Following his schooling, he pursued higher education at Brown University in the United States, graduating with a degree in Economics. His career began shortly after graduation, interning within the family business, and he eventually rose to his current position as a key figure in Reliance Jio Infocomm.

After his Economics degree, Akash joined Reliance Jio Infocomm, initially as part of a small team. His contributions have been instrumental to Jio’s remarkable growth. He took on a significant leadership role within Reliance Jio in June 2022 and later became a non-executive director of Reliance Industries Limited in August 2023.
