Anjana Om Kashyap is an Indian journalist and news anchor. She is the executive editor of the Indian news channel Aaj Tak and is well-known for hosting shows like “Halla Bol” and “Dilli Ke Dil Mein Kya Hai.”

Biography

Anjana Om Kashyap was born on 12 June 1975 (age 48 years; as of 2023) in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. She pursued her graduation in Botany Honours from Delhi University and later completed a Master’s in Social Work from the Delhi School of Social Work. She also prepared for the UPSC Civil Services examination but was unable to clear it. She then completed a Diploma in Journalism and started her career as a news anchor at Doordarshan.

Career

Anjana began her journalism career with Doordarshan in 2003, where she worked on the show “Ankhon Dekhi.” She later joined Zee News as a desk job holder, working there for five years. Her popularity increased after hosting the debate show “Ankhon Dekhi” at Zee News. She later moved to ABP News where she worked on shows like “Do Tuk.” In 2012, she joined Aaj Tak and became a well-known anchor for her fierce and strong opinions on social and political issues. She is particularly known for hosting “Halla Bol” and “Dilli Ke Dil Mein Kya Hai.”

Personal Life

Anjana Om Kashyap was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India on 12 June 1975. Her father, Late Dr. Om Prakash Tiwari, was an Ex-Defence Officer. Her mother hails from Bihar Sharif.
Anjana is married to Mangesh Kashyap, an IPS officer, and the couple has a son and a daughter.
