Career
After completing his education, Dushyant Chautala entered the political arena, joining the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD). His family has a strong legacy in the INLD; his great-grandfather, Chaudhary Devi Lal, founded the party, and his grandfather, Om Prakash Chautala, served as its Chairperson (deceased). In 2014, he successfully contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Hisar Lok Sabha Constituency in Haryana.
He was expelled from the INLD in November 2018 and subsequently established his own political party, the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) later that year.
