Kuldeep Singh Chahal was born in 1981 (age 43 years as of 2024) in Ujhana village, Jind district, Haryana. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Kurukshetra University. Following this, he and his brother, Suresh Kumar, moved to Panchkula. There, Kuldeep pursued an MA in History from Panjab University while diligently preparing for government examinations. His journey wasn’t without its hurdles. Initially recruited as an ASI in the Chandigarh police in 2005, he aspired for greater things. This led him to dedicate three years of intense preparation, culminating in his 82nd rank in the civil services exam on his third attempt.
