His Bollywood career took off in 1997 as a background dancer in “Dil Toh Pagal Hai.” He subsequently worked his way up to become Shiamak Davar’s assistant choreographer, contributing his talent to films like “Bunty Aur Babli,” “Dhoom 2,” and “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.”

Reality Television

Marzi’s television debut was in 2011 as a judge on “Dance India Dance- L’il Masters Season 2.” He continued to judge on shows like “Dance Ke Superkids” (2012) and “Nach Baliye Season 7” (2015), alongside Preity Zinta and Chetan Bhagat. He returned to “Dance India Dance Season 6” in 2017.

In 2013, he took a break from reality shows to focus on his role as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Master Instructor at the Shiamak Davar’s Institute of Performing Arts (SDIPA) in Mumbai. His team, “Marzi Ke Mastane,” achieved second place in “Dance India Dance Season 6”.
