Born on Monday, April 18, 1983, in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Rubika Liyaquat (age 40 as of 2023) completed her schooling at St. Gregorios Senior Secondary School, Udaipur. She then pursued a Bachelor of Mass Media (Journalism) from the University of Mumbai.
During her journalism studies, she undertook a valuable three-month internship with Channel 24 in 2003, gaining practical experience before graduating in 2005.

Rubika began her broadcasting career in 2007 as a news anchor with Live India, remaining there until September 2008. She then transitioned to News 24 as an anchor and senior correspondent, before joining Zee News.
Her hosting of the popular show “Taal Thok Ke” on Zee News propelled her to prominence. She served as a Senior Anchor and Editor at Zee News before moving to other opportunities.
