Born on Friday, July 21, 1995, in Palanpur, Gujarat, Safin Hasan’s zodiac sign is Cancer. He completed his schooling at S KM High School in Kanodar and Ascent School of Science in Palanpur. He later pursued a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat.

Safin’s first attempt at the UPSC exam in 2017 was marked by an accident on his way to the examination center, resulting in head, hand, and leg injuries. Despite this setback, he persevered, completing the exam before seeking medical attention for a severe knee ligament injury requiring surgery. He achieved an AIR of 570.
His UPSC interview, scheduled for March 23, 2018, was preceded by health challenges. He faced hospitalization for a urinary infection and later for tonsillitis, impacting his preparation. Despite these obstacles, he attended his interview and secured the second-highest score.
