Career
After relocating to Bengaluru from Nagpur in 2009, she initially worked at Hippocampus, a children’s library, and briefly at a food laboratory. From August 2011 to November 2012, she held a business development manager position at TUV Rheinland India Pvt Limited in Bengaluru.
Her journey into comedy began in 2013 with “The Improv,” an improvisational comedy show in Bengaluru. With this team, she performed over 100 shows across India and internationally. Her YouTube debut came in December 2014 with “Anu Aunty – Engineering Anthem,” alongside Varun Agrawal. Further collaborations included sketches with Sanjay Manaktala, where she played “Parvati Bai.”
Sumukhi’s breakthrough came in 2016 with her YouTube series, “Better Life Foundation,” where she played Sumukhi Chawla.
