Vaibhav Saxena was born on Saturday, December 13, 1990 (age 33 as of 2023), in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He completed his schooling at HP Children’s Academy and Little Flower School, Gorakhpur, and earned a Computer Science degree from Sharda University in Greater Noida.

He comes from a Kayastha Hindu family. His father, Dr. Rajeev Kumar Saxena, was a renowned eye surgeon in Gorakhpur. His mother, Usha Kiran Saxena, holds an M.Sc. and PhD from MS University, Vadodara, and works as a freelance wellness advisor. He has a younger brother, Utkarsh Saxena, who is a doctor.

Career

As a Music Composer and Music Director

Vaibhav began his musical journey composing with Gunjan Jha. His debut, “Bhakti Band” (2009), released by Times Music, was an Indo-Western fusion of devotional songs. He pioneered “Brainwave sound technology” in India. In 2009, he also composed music for the legendary ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas for the album “Shabad,” also released by Times Music. This album featured semi-classical compositions including “Shabad” from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

His Bollywood debut was with the song “Iltija” from the movie Lanka (2011). He achieved significant popularity with his crossover singles “You And Me (Teri Galliyan)” (2014) and “Without You (Soch)” (2015), released under T-Series. He’s also part of the fusion band “Sumiran,” blending classical and modern sounds.

His 2018 song “More Saiyaan” received widespread praise from artists like Sonu Nigam, Papon, Nana Patekar, and R. Madhavan.

As a Singer

Vaibhav’s singing debut was with “Without You (Soch)” (2015), where he sang the English part, while Hardy Sandhu sang the Punjabi portion.

As a Rapper

He debuted as a rapper in 2019 with “Akhiyaan Vich,” featuring Ashok Mastie. The music video, released by Zee Music Company, garnered over a million views quickly. Vaibhav composed, produced, and sang the English parts.
