Vittal Bapurao Khote, better known as Viju Khote, was born on Monday, December 17, 1941, in Bombay Presidency, British India. His zodiac sign was Sagittarius. He received his education at St. Sebastian’s Gaon High School in Mumbai, following which he completed his graduation. He hailed from a Hindu family with a strong theatrical background.

His father, Nandu Khote, was a renowned stage and silent film actor, influencing Viju’s path into the world of entertainment. His sister, Shubha Khote, also achieved success as a Bollywood and television actress. Adding to the family’s legacy, his aunt was the late actress Durga Khote, and his niece is the television actress Bhavna Balsavar.
